Many jobs have requirements for the end of months or the end of quarters.
“You have to get these things done by then” or “you better close this many deals by end of quarter”.
The times of relaxation are no more, and the times of stress to get these things done is on. You may not sleep until the things get done.
Every once in a while though…you’re in a job like this, and you totally hit it out of the park the rest of the month, and this day is a day of celebration. You don’t have a bunch of stuff to get done, because you worked your tail off and got it done earlier in the month. Now you get to realize the work you’ve done to get to this moment.
