I went into the office about a month ago to pick up all of my stuff since I didn’t know when I would be back, but today I went in again to meet up with my co-worker who was in town and my CEO ended up being there as well. It made me realize both how much I miss being in the office and how much I’m happy I don’t have to go into the office.
I’m most likely more productive (in some ways) going into the office, and it is fun to see people while you work, but I did not miss having to plan my day around it. I’m not at my house if something important happens or I need to start dinner halfway through the day.
It was a good day to be back in the office, but I think as long as I’m able to work remotely, that’s likely what I’ll continue doing.
