When we want to prove a point, we often will do almost anything to do it. Sometimes the point is true, sometimes it’s not. But even when it is true, we at times sacrifice the truth to prove our point.

We will use any data to prove it, and we don’t fact check the data that we see. We may find something out that is completely bogus, but it helps to prove your point. Your point is good and true, so you feel that you might as well share this thing that we heard. Some people haven’t realized this yet, but not all statistics you read on the internet are true.

It’s easy for us to have a bias and find what we want o the internet and use it for our own “good” agenda. It’s so easy to be pulled in that direction, and I’m no stranger in that department.

We live in a world now that everyone is the news. With social media powering over almost the entire world, you have a peace of people’s ear. I encourage you to be sure that if you ever do share something, you know for sure that it is true. Imagine the world of social media if everyone lived by this principle? What a different thing it would be, and so much less fighting.
