Long car rides can be a drag. It seems the more people you add to the car, the more fun it is and the faster it goes. But if you find yourself trying to figure out a way to pass the time, especially if you’re with someone who you are closer with, there are lots of games you can play/questions you can ask to pass the time.
One of my new favorites is to put on a playlist with songs that both people know well and ask what memory the song brings back for them. What time in life, what friends were they with at the time, what job were they working, etc?
Songs have a way of bringing back nostalgia that you can’t think of without the prompt.
A fun way to get conversation started and keep each other awake on a long ride.
