So much of the world is shut down right now. Jobs that have never been in danger for any reason are now gone. People who you thought were essential are now no longer, and activities that you thought would always be around have disappeared.

No one doubts that it’s been a crazy time and that we’re living through history. However, I think people are starting to allow it to sink in a bit more. Three weeks ago, the excitement and newness of the virus had people hysterical and crazy bout what was happening and what companies were doing to deal with it. That newness has worn off, and now people have almost grown numb to it.

Now, to everyone who’s lost their job because of it, they may not be feeling like it’s worn off, or like they don’t have to pay attention to it. It’s completely reshaped that world, so naturally, it’s still in the front seat for them.

But people are starting to realize that we’ve got to be able to figure out life like this for a while. Who knows how long now, but it’s longer than the week or two many prepared for.

The thing I’ve realized for myself is there are different categories of things to do. Some things in my life are just completely taking a backseat, I can’t do them at all during this time. Other things, I can do, but the “workflow” in how I do it is completely different from what it used to be. The last bit are things that I can still pretty much do as I was, but maybe just slight changes.

I think it’s absolutely crucial to keep up some of those last things. Give your life some normality by doing the normal things that you did pre-corona, during Corona, or after corona. Get outside, do something that helps you come alive!
