This is really more of an epilogue than it is a 4th part. We left early this morning, just before sunrise, to head back to life. I had meetings int he afternoon for work, so I knew we would have to leave early to get back for them.
God blessed us with a beautiful sunrise before we left and headed on our way. It was a pretty quiet trip back. Some good conversation and bopping music.
The last thing you want to do after separating from life for four days is sit down and take a call…unfortunately, I didn’t have the luxury to not, but it was a good blast back to reality so that I knew when I need to do. Today also happened to coincide with my birthday, so we had a bit of a family celebration which was a nice wake-up from being gone.
Probably the best birthday I’ve had, and with as good a start as that, I can’t wait to see what 23 is going to look like.
