Not everyone has the gift of planning. For those that do, there is a special exciting time that happens as you get close to the event you’re planning. There are feelings of nervousness, some excitement, predictions, etc.

“Is this person going to enjoy it? I wonder if this person will be here? I can’t wait until everyone sees this. I hope they don’t all get bored” along with 30,000 other things that go through the head of a planner.

Usually, I’ve found there to be an amount of expectation that is never fully fulfilled. You want to be excited during, but you’re so busy making sure it’s happening, rarely do you get a chance to fully soak it in.

There is a special joy and art to the planning process that has a joy of its own though.

If you know it, you know it.
