Traditions are a beautiful thing. For many, traditions can have a bad connotation. Something that people have done for many years and no one knows why. Perhaps religious affiliations are the worst offenders. So many traditions to the point that even if they started out with good intentions, no one may know why they happen anymore.

During this holiday season, what are those traditions that you may have for no reason? It’s not necessarily a call to stop doing them, but more to think deeply about why they are a part of your holiday season. Why is it important? If it’s for nothing else other than that it’s a fun thing for you and your family, that’s okay too.

I wonder though if many of the traditions we have started with something extremely meaningful and has since morphed into something completely unrecognizable?
