It’s 3:00pm at the end of your work day. It’s the day before Thanksgiving. The emails have slowly stopped filtering into your inbox. Your last two meetings of the day were canceled.

Never has it been harder to finish your day of work. You realize that you can use the slower period to get project work done that you haven’t been able to because it’s been too busy, but now seems like the last possible time to do it.

Sometimes, before the holidays, it’s easy to checkout of work a little early. Maybe not the best thing to do. Certainly not the most productive use of time, but boy I can’t wait to have a day with family and friends.

I know many this year aren’t having the planned for holiday they planned. I feel overwhelmingly blessed to be able to have a semi-normal day or celebration.
