Recommendations you’ll Never Take

Have you ever been talking to someone and all of a sudden, they give you like 4 recommendations on something you should watch/read/do/etc.

Out of courtesy, you take those recs and tell them you’ll check it out. You already know in your heart though that you’re not going to look them up.

Should we tell them straight up we’re not going to take their recs seriously or do we play along and at least write it down?
