You’re at the store, you’re about to enter. An older man, maybe in his 70s, approaches you and asks if you need a cart. You gladly accept it.

Simple things like this are things that bring me great joy. It saves three people some work. The previous shopper from finding a cart rack, the employees to moving the cart inside, and me from grabbing a cart when I walk in.

Some of my favorite things in life are the most simple, and this evening, this is what brought me joy.

Look for simple ways to improve others lives and go a little out of your way to make things a little better.
