Have you ever wondered how to do something and gone in search for a how-to video or article on Google and Youtube?

If you just said no, you’re either…

  1. Someone who hates learning
  2. 97 years old
  3. A time traveler from the 19th century
  4. or You already know everything.

There is actually everything on the internet. I checked.

How? By Googling the most random thing I could think of – How to clip your nails – and being rewarded by this video:

I almost died after the first 15 seconds of the video. It just made me realize there truly is nothing new under the sun.

But it also made me realize how thankful I am for how to videos. I have been there so many times when I didn’t have a clue how to do something that probably millions did without even thinking every day. It takes someone with the mindset of reaching down the ladder to help others to create something for someone a few steps behind them.

I’ve tried to get better at documenting my work the last six months, so today I thought, why not do that while also creating a video that could maybe help someone else? It may never do that and it may be worthless to people who see it, but at least I tried to help others, and I did it while also showing my skills to others.

Here’s a quick video I made on one of my projects I did a couple of months ago. If you’ve ever wondered about some of the features in Google Slides, this is the video for you!
