Sometimes, I’m not inspired to write essay style posts. However, I’m also not a poet. Because of this, when Inspired to write outside the box, I often end up with something like the following.
There is beauty in every part of God’s creation.
Sometimes beauty is hard to find, and you have to look closely for it.
Other times, beauty is right in front of you and you can’t help but see it.
The beauty changes depending on where you are.
What’s beautiful to you becomes different each year.
Beauty is something that feels beyond us.
It’s something our mind can’t fully understand but tries to grasp.
…A beautiful thing, though, is never enough for us.
Day one of the most beautiful place in the world is joy and amazement.
Day one hundred of the same place is routine and typical.
We get used to beauty. We take beauty for granted. We forget to appreciate beauty.
And oh what a tragedy.
What a great God we serve who never forgets about his creation.
What a great God we serve who never forgets about the beautiful things he has created.
…What a great God we serve who never forgets about those who forget about Him.
There is beauty in every year of life, and in every place in life, but I often forget to look for it. These 5 pictures are pictures I have taken in each of the last five years of my life. Some years looked more beautiful on the outside than others, but I am truly thankful for the growth, learning, and beauty that I have experienced in each.
Great reminder of how we look at life each day. I plan to start looking for the beauty in each day.
